Each half-length, carved in high-relief, crowned, the angelic face with almond-shaped eyes, with cloud base. One looks out from a 'moon ark' symbolising the journey of faith and divine protection/salvation; one holds a chalice, with a wonderful hexagonal base; the third holds an open religious text, (3)

For comparable crowned examples see St. Peter & St. Paul, Swaffham, Norfolk, completed 1475, with over 80 roof angels extant
