Profusely geometric-inlaid throughout, the hinged lid with a large stellar design, centred by an engraved mother-of-pearl boss, within a border of alternate lozenges and eight-pointed star roundels, all sides with a dog-tooth edged lozenge and chequer spandrels inlay, mother-of-pearl escutcheon, mirror to underside of lid and removal tray with numerous divisions, on squat bun feet.
