Each worked in coloured silk and metal threads on a fine cream silk ground, one designed to the centre with a female warrior holding a shield and spear, to represent Britannia, Victory or Valour, the other with a female holding a flower, representing Flora or Summer, beneath a beribboned posy flanked by birds, surrounded by meandering flower sprays issuing from grassy mounds on which stand two sheep with dogs, glazed and with arched linen-covered mounts within giltwood frames, (2), dimensions include frame

- Condition Good colour and condition to the embroidery threads however some splitting to the incredibly fine silk ground. Overall this is still a very attractive piece, despite the fragility of the silk ground, and would look lovely as part of a decorative scheme rather than a connoisseur piece.
