Having an oval drop-leaf top when fully open, the turned legs unusually splayed (typically vertical), joined by turned stretchers all round, the conforming turned and paired gates of particularly rare design, namely set-in from the long stretcher on a short turned stretcher, with an angled braced and pendant hung upper support
