The lid with four raised edge-moulded panels, the front with conforming size panels within a deep moulded frame, spaced and flanked by bold applied split-spindles, twin-panelled sides, on extended stile supports, the lower front right-hand stile professional repaired post illustration (after 1979), the original hinges with rare axe-head projections to prevent the lid falling back once opened, excellent colour and finish
