A panel of 19th century silk Ikat in muted shades of raspberry, violet, mauve and ochre, edged with 19th century hand-dyed claret coloured linen, backed with a similar faded-blackberry coloured linen, filled with pure British wool, sewn closed. The Ikat professionally washed, retaining old stains commensurate with age and use. With areas of stitched repair.
